Rhonda Carey
As an owner of Landmark Monuments, Rhonda is committed to providing high quality personalized service to each and every family. She has many years of experience assisting families throughout the community.  She used her extensive knowledge and training in the funeral and cemetery industry to specialize in creating memorial stones.  After 15 years as a memorial consultant at Fort Collins Monument & Stone, Rhonda opened her own company.  Honesty, integrity, and the commitment to provide quality service to everyone are the founding principles she has used to build her business.  

Mark Carey

Vice President
Mark joined Landmark Monuments in 2016, heading up overall operations to ensure we consistently exceed the expectations of the families we serve.  He is actively involved in community projects, memorial consulting, marketing, and business development.  Mark is a graduate of the University of Colorado, majoring in Business Management and Statistical Economics.  He brings innovative talent and focused commitment to excellence to the Landmark Monuments team, helping to build our reputation, one stone at a time.


Eric Montoya
Memorial Consultant
Eric serves families along the Front Range including the communities of Brighton, Longmont, Thornton, Boulder, Greeley and Denver by providing personalized home appointments.  He brings granite samples, pictures, and ideas directly to the comfort of your home. Prior to joining Landmark Monuments, he had 10 years of experience as a funeral director in Broomfield, Colorado.  He currently holds a seat on City Council for the City of Thornton, is on the Board of Directors of Unison Housing Partners, and serves as a Director of Hispanic Elected Local Officials (HELO). 

Darcy Griffiths
Shop Foreman
Darcy is the Senior Memorial Craftsman with over 30 years of experience in the monument industry.  He began his career in the art of engraving, shape carving, and sandblasting at Longmont Memorials in Longmont, Colorado.  He spent 15 years at Fort Collins Monument & Stone where he further refined his artistic techniques.  He joined Landmark Monuments in 2014 and was promoted to Shop Foreman in 2015.  His attention to detail, skilled craftsmanship, and shop management expertise ensure the final monuments are exactly as the families have envisioned.


Erik Nelson
Memorial Craftsman/Safety Coordinator
Erik has been an integral part of Landmark Monuments since 2014.  His attention to detail, combined with his extraordinary craftsmanship, ensures that his work exceeds customer expectations time and again. Erik specializes in shape carving and custom hand-painted details.  As our Safety Coordinator, Erik implements on going training classes to ensure a safe work environment.
